Common questions

My tasks aren't showing on my other device

Hyper syncs through your own iCloud. Both devices need to be signed in to the same Apple ID with iCloud Drive turned on, and to have been online recently. Open Hyper on the device that is behind and give it a minute. Still stuck? Email us with the two device names.

A goal moved to a time I didn't set

A calendar event with the goal's name paired with it. Long-press the goal, choose Calendar, then Unlink, and Hyper won't pair that goal by name again. To turn automatic pairing off everywhere, open Settings → Calendars and switch off "Pair events with your goals". Links you make yourself still work.

A calendar event and a goal are the same thing, but they show as two rows

That happens when the names differ, for example a goal called "Portuguese" and an event called "Portuguese Lesson". Link them once, from either row:

Either way the calendar row folds into the goal, its check-offs are kept, and the goal takes the event's time. You can see what a row is linked to under Associations → Origin in the same long-press menu.

Do I have to link every occurrence of a repeating event?

No. Linking stores the event series, so every future occurrence pairs with the goal by itself, on every device. If you later create a brand-new event with a different name, link that one once too.

I checked something off by mistake

Completed tasks gather at the bottom of the list. Tap the checkmark to bring one back. Every deleted task and list goes to Recently Deleted in the sidebar, where Restore brings it back with its history. Permanent deletion happens only from there.

Subscription and billing

Your subscription is handled by Apple. To change or cancel it, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. To restore a purchase on a new device, open Hyper → Settings → Restore Purchases. Refunds are issued by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com.

Where is my data?

On your devices and in your iCloud. We have no servers and cannot see your tasks. See the Privacy Policy.
